7.25pm Main event – The Care Act

The Care Act

The Care Act 2014 is the main legislation that sets out when people will be provided with care and support by Local Authorities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Its scope is vast but in this short, introductory talk Amanda will focus on the key points in relation to the assessment of a person; who will be assessed, what the assessment covers and how a Local Authority determines eligibility for services.

8.30pm (approx) And finally…

There is usually time after the main event to talk, ask questions and share information.

9.00pm End of meeting

Grateful thanks for helping us ready the Café for the following morning 🙂
