There will be no formal meeting in August, but why not join us for a relaxing summer evening walk along the River Frome?

When and where?

We'll meet at the entrance to our usual venue, the cafe at the United Church in Dorchester, at 6.50pm. From there we'll walk down to the river.

The address is:
United Church Dorchester
49/51 Charles Street
Dorchester
DT1 1EE

The walk

We'll leave at 7pm sharp and walk up to the Top of Town, then down to the river from there. We'll then follow the river through the town. Then if people want to and time allows, we can walk further towards Stinsford and Kingston Maurward. Sunset is at 8.32pm on Monday 13th August, so we'll be back by then. Please make sure you arrive promptly so we can get an hour and a half walking time.

This is an easy gentle walk on flat terrain. If it's hot, bring a drink to keep cool. You're welcome to bring your dog.

Please note

DAAS does not have qualified walk leaders or insurance for walks. Participation on this walk is at your own risk.
