The Autumn Series is an enlightening series of talks by people on the spectrum. DAAS is grateful to those who have kindly accepted an invitation to speak.
Monday, 11th September 2017, 7pm - 8.45pm
The United Church, Dorchester – The Cafe (ground floor)
49 / 51 Charles Street, Dorchester DT1 1EE
|Welcome & Introduction||Our host for the evening is Carole Driver. Please note that, due to family circumstances, Carole will need to leave Dorchester by 2045hrs. The meeting will therefore conclude at 2030hrs.|
|Refreshments & Voluntary Donations||Coffee/Tea/Squash & biscuits available throughout the evening. A voluntary donation of £1 per head is appreciated.|
|Pause for Thought||What thoughts have you gleaned during our summer break?|
19:30 - 20:15 hrs
|We are delighted to welcome Phil Dobel, as speaker for this evening. Phil will be sharing photos and discussion about his recent family holiday to Jamaica.
This evening's talk might be especially of use to those who wish to travel, either abroad or closer to home; bringing insight on how Phil managed all the vagaries of what it takes to join/participate in a family holiday abroad. Phil will be providing a slide show of photos from the trip.
|And Finally .....||Time to circulate, chat, seek advice or offer help and generally catch up.|
|First Visit?||At DAAS meetings you can just listen and observe or join in and take part. Whichever feels comfortable for you.|
|Grateful Thanks||Carole Driver & The Dorchester Team|
