| Main Event (7.30pm): | Welfare Reform – What we know so far. Our speaker is Richard Bristow who has been the Manager at Poole Citizens Advice Bureau since 1997. Prior to this he worked as a welfare benefits and debt caseworker in bureaux from Hull to Truro. With over 26 years knowledge of the advice sector there isn’t much he hasn’t dealt with at some point - though he does say he would much rather have been an astronaut! The subject of Welfare Benefits has been one of the key topics identified by DAAS members and supporters as something which they would like to know more about. So this will be a great opportunity to find out the latest news on what is happening and how the proposed changes may affect you. |
| And finally ..... | Time after the Main Event to circulate, chat, seek advice or offer help and generally catch up. |
| Can you help? | At every meeting we rely on a varying team of people to ensure things run smoothly. If you can help out at the Welcome desk, with the Refreshment team, in setting up the room or by meeting and greeting newcomers we’d love to hear from you. Contact Diane on 01689 862055 or |
