Tonight we will be returning to our popular Round Table Discussion groups where you have the chance to tell us what you think, to share your ideas, to learn from the experiences of others or just to listen to views and suggestions which you may find helpful in dealing with everyday life. There will be a mix of topics so you should find something to suit you.

But first we welcome your thoughts on how to move forward. DAAS has reached a point where we need to look at our future. The most active organisers will be stepping back in a very short time. For DAAS to continue, our activities have to be manageable. This might mean cutting back/changing the way we do things. We want your ideas on what we can do to facilitate this – whether it is something we can do better, something we can stop doing, or some small task you are willing to take on. Tonight we will have several discussion tables, where we would like to hear your opinions & your ideas (even if you think your suggestion seems a bit silly it might lead to something else worth doing) This first discussion on The Way Forward will last about 15 minutes then the conversation will move on to a different topic. Some suggestions include: Strategies for Christmas/Holidays; Candidates for AS Awareness Training; How to spend the money; Topics/Events for 2019; Aspects of Socialising etc.

And Finally ..... Time after the Main Event to circulate, chat, seek advice or offer help and generally catch up.
Note for first-timers At DAAS meetings you are welcome to join in and take part but you are also welcome to just listen & observe – whatever feels comfortable.
Can You Help? Many thanks to those who already help in running DAAS meetings or who have recently offered to take on some of the support roles. If you would like DAAS to thrive and prosper please think seriously about what you too can do.
